Munich’s traditional dress is finding a new expression in the hands of Iryna Natalicheva. The designer, whose discreet atelier near Gärtnerplatz has long served private clients and boutiques, introduced her label tracht N trend in 2026. Rather than treating Bavarian Tracht as a fixed costume, she approaches it as a living design tradition, preserving recognizable cultural details while refining the silhouette, construction and fit for contemporary wardrobes. Her work offers an alternative to seasonal fashion: individual garments intended to be worn with pleasure and kept with care.

Natalicheva’s authority comes from years spent working with clothes at every stage of production. Trained in tailoring and pattern construction before attending ESMOD Munich, she graduated in 2014 with the school’s highest distinction and received the Goldene Nadel for her collection Kavkaz. That project explored the modern interpretation of traditional clothing, an idea she has now brought into the Bavarian context. Her experience includes collections for boutiques in Munich and Tegernsee, collaborations with manufacturers and bespoke looks for private clients, including outfits intended for red-carpet appearances. From fabric selection and pattern development to fitting and finishing, technical precision remains central to her practice.
